About Us
Hi, we’re Andy and Tabi.
We have a heart for serving people in our community and around the world. After 20 years of ministry in South America, we settled in Chattanooga, TN - home to refugees from all over the world. For the past 15 years, we’ve been doing daily Bible studies with several groups of people from the Middle East, North African, and Central Asia.
God has brought us a group of Hazara Christians who we have been supporting and doing Bible studies with for the past year.
Because of the Taliban, these 30 people had to flee their homes in Afghanistan and are now living in hiding in Pakistan. Though they escaped immediate death in Afghanistan, they continue to live in danger in Pakistan as ethnic and religious minorities.
They left everything, and are trusting God to bring them to a safe place. They’re our brothers and sisters in Christ. They’re our friends. We share Bible studies, yes, but we also share life with these 8 precious families. From cooking videos with the parents to puppet shows with the kids, we’ve been deeply invested in the lives of these people for some time.
Now, we want to introduce you to them through Hope For Hazara. This is not an idea or a concept. These are real people who have hope that their children might grow up in freedom, and without fear of persecution for their faith or their ethnicity.
